Rain Protection Cover 44 x 42 x 26 cm for PAR Light with Hook Passage and Open Bottom Black for Stage Lights on the Ramp

The black rain cover slips over the PAR light suspended from the ramp, tripod leg or other stage structure. There is a hook passage with a textile collar in the top wall, through which the light's hook passes, allowing the cover to sit directly under the beam. The cover wraps around the entire body of the light including the bracket and the back side, where the connectors and controls are located. The bottom of the cover remains open, allowing the front of the light with LEDs to shine out unobstructed. The cover is made from Oxford fabric 1680D and measures 44 x 42 x 26 cm.

  • Hook Passage – in the centre of the top wall is an opening with a textile collar, through which the hook or clamp of the light is threaded. The collar wraps around the hook snugly at the top wall of the cover and covers the area where the hook passes into the cover. Thus, there is no free opening left at the top of the cover.
  • Closed Top – the top wall and sides of the cover shield the light from all sides where rainwater may fall on it. The back of the light with the display, buttons, and cable connections is also protected.
  • Open Bottom – the cover is flared and open at the bottom, allowing the front of the light to protrude and shine freely out. The direction and tilt of the light can be adjusted even with the cover on. Power and DMX cables run from the back of the light under the edge of the cover and remain connected.
  • Oxford Fabric 1680D – the cover is made from durable fabric with strong fibres, and the edges are hemmed. The fabric withstands repeated putting on, folding, and transporting between events. The black colour blends in with the ramp and dark bodies of the lights on stage, so the cover does not draw attention from the audience.
  • Dimensions 44 x 42 x 26 cm – the cover fits standard PAR lights with brackets. It is advisable to compare the dimensions of the cover with your own light before purchasing to ensure it fits including the bracket and protruding screws.
  • Easy to Put On – the light can be unhooked or the cover can be put on before hanging, the hook is threaded through the top opening and the cover is allowed to drop freely over the body of the light. Removal is equally quick and requires no tools. After the event, the cover can be folded flat and stored in the transport box with the lights.
