Protective covers for appliances
Dust, sun, rain and cooking grease gradually damage the surface of a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave or the outdoor unit of an air conditioner. Protective covers for appliances include covers for washing machines and dryers, covers for microwaves and smaller kitchen appliances, air conditioner covers and splatter guards for the microwave and mixer.

Washing machine covers for front loaders measure 62 × 55 × 86 cm, are white and see-through, and have a zip and prints with flowers, animals, cacti or hot-air balloons. The versions for top loaders have zips on the top and front. Silver waterproof covers from 85 × 60 × 50 cm to 103 × 65 × 65 cm protect the machine from dust and moisture.
Tumble dryer covers made of polyester are waterproof and dustproof, and some also protect against sunlight. They are 50–65 cm wide and 85–103 cm high.
Microwave covers measuring 85 × 35 cm are draped over the microwave and have pockets for small items. A grey see-through cover measuring 36 × 34 × 25 cm fits smaller kitchen appliances, and stretchy plastic covers keep dust off fans. Splatter covers are used inside the microwave, and a silicone splash guard for the mixer catches drips while whisking.
Air conditioner covers from 75 × 26 × 57 cm to 105 × 40 × 75 cm protect the outdoor unit from rain, snow and dust. When choosing protective covers for appliances, it is important to measure the height, width and depth of the appliance.
