Overview
Precision Hot Air Station 22.2 x 12 x 15.2 cm 170 W with Nozzles from 0.5 mm and Temperature 100–480 °C in Turquoise for BGA Repairs

The precision hot air soldering station is designed for delicate repairs of printed circuit boards, where it is necessary to heat only a small area around a single component. The slim pen-shaped hot air handle works with interchangeable nozzles with diameters of from 0.5 mm to 4 mm, allowing the flow of hot air to be directed very precisely. The temperature can be set in the range of 100–480 °C, and the current values are displayed on a blue backlit LCD screen. The station, with a power of 170 W and dimensions of approximately 22.2 x 12 x 15.2 cm, is suitable for BGA repairs, micro-soldering, and replacing small SMD components. The turquoise body with a black front panel is complemented by a separate stand for the handle.

  • Eight nozzles from 0.5 to 4 mm – Nozzles with diameters of 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.5 mm, and 4 mm cover work from the smallest passive components to larger chips. The thinnest nozzle, 0.5 mm, allows heating a single point without unnecessary heating of the surrounding area.
  • Pencil-shaped handle – The slim black handle is held similarly to a soldering pen, making it easier to guide the nozzle precisely over the board. It is also suitable for work under a microscope or magnifying glass.
  • Steady air flow – Air is supplied by a pump motor with a steady flow, and the airflow speed reaches up to 4.5 m/s with a 2 mm nozzle. The gentle flow thus reduces the risk of displacing small components during heating.
  • LCD display and three presets – The display shows the temperature, selected preset, and a column indicator of air flow strength. Three buttons CH 1, 2, and 3 are used for quick recall of saved settings.
  • Simple operation – Values are adjusted using a rotary knob in the middle of the panel and two buttons on either side. The station is turned on with the ON/OFF switch located in the lower left part of the panel.
  • Stand with compartments – The black stand securely holds the hot air handle between work steps. It has compartments at the bottom for storing nozzles or small parts.
  • Power supply and operating conditions – The station operates with a voltage of 110–240 V and a frequency of 50–60 Hz. The recommended ambient temperature during operation is 0–40 °C.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x hot air soldering station
  • 1x hot air handle
  • 1x handle stand
  • 8x nozzle with a diameter of 0.5–4 mm

The precision hot air station is suitable for mobile phone service centres, electronics repair technicians, and anyone working with densely populated boards. Thanks to the thin nozzles, heat is concentrated only on the desired spot and neighbouring components remain less stressed. Temperature range of 100–480 °C along with a steady air flow allows for gentle desoldering and re-soldering of components. The presets and clear display speed up the work during repeated repairs. The setup is a practical choice for micro-soldering and BGA chip repairs in a small space.
