It can store 128 channels, allowing you to have pre-set connections for different groups or situations. The stated range of 3 to 5 km covers construction sites, areas, camps, routes in the field, and coordination between vehicles. The device is in black with a backlit display that shows two frequencies stacked vertically, and a full numeric keypad for direct input. On the top edge is a rotating knob for power and volume control, next to it is a built-in torch.

The transceiver is suitable for outings, camping, construction work, warehouse use, and for coordinating smaller teams where mobile signal is unreliable or impractical. The combination of the keypad and display showing two frequencies allows for precise settings directly on the device and switching between stored channels during operation. The included headset with microphone is practical when you need hands-free operation or do not want to disturb the surroundings with a loud speaker. The clip and lanyard make it easy to carry on a belt or over the shoulder, and the built-in torch extends its use into the dark. The stated range of 3 to 5 km applies to open spaces; in denser areas or rugged terrain, it will be shorter.
