The polishing flap disc with a diameter of 100 mm and a central hole of 16 mm is designed for angle grinders. The flaps of the disc are made from nylon fibre with a fibrous structure similar to an abrasive sponge, arranged in a circle around a solid centre. The disc is used for cleaning rust and old coatings, for fine grinding, and for polishing metal surfaces. It is suitable for steel, aluminium, copper, welds, and metal frames, and can also be used for wood finishing. The grey nylon flaps are intended for cleaning, grinding, and polishing, including polishing aluminium parts. It will be used by locksmiths, auto mechanics, craftsmen, and DIY enthusiasts during the renovation of metal parts or surface preparation for further processing.

Before mounting, check that the diameter of the disc and central hole 16 mm match your grinder and that the grinder is designed for discs with a diameter of 100 mm. Securely tighten the disc with the clamping nut and let the grinder run briefly at no load to verify smooth operation without wobbling. When working, guide the disc evenly across the surface, do not apply excessive pressure, and allow the flaps to work at their own pace. Excessive pressure unnecessarily increases the wear of the flaps and heating of the workpiece. With thin sheets and soft metals, such as aluminium or copper, work with shorter strokes to prevent overheating of the material. Always use the grinder's protective cover, safety glasses, gloves, and a respirator, as dust and small particles are generated during grinding and cleaning. Secure the workpiece firmly or place it on a stable surface and work in a well-ventilated area.

The 100 mm nylon fibre polishing flap disc is a practical addition to any workshop where metal is worked on. It is suitable for flat surfaces, edges, pipes, and profiles, making work easier where manual grinding and polishing would take too long. With one disc, you can clean steel parts of rust and prepare them for further coating, or give aluminium and copper parts a uniform appearance.
