A straight end of the tube is a prerequisite for a tight connection in filtration assemblies, as quick connectors and fittings assume that the plastic hose sits flat and the lock engages around the entire circumference. An angled or crushed end, as left by a knife or pliers, is harder to fit into the connector, and the joint often becomes a source of leakage that is difficult to locate, usually only after the system has been filled. The cutter therefore guides the blade across the tube and divides the plastic in one motion, without shavings and without the need to further smooth the cut with a file or sandpaper. One-handed operation is also useful in tight spaces under sinks or behind cabinets, where manoeuvring with larger pliers is difficult and there is no room for sweeping motions. It is equally effective during routine maintenance when only one section of the hose is replaced and the rest of the distribution remains in place. The black finish does not get dirty from water and plastic residue as much as lighter surfaces, so the tool looks usable even after a longer period in the bag among other equipment.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
