Contents of the Package:
- 20 seeds of Carica papaya
For a successful start, it is advisable to soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours before sowing, which softens the seed coat and speeds up germination. Sow in a permeable substrate in a tray with a cover or in a mini-greenhouse with a stable temperature around 28 °C. Young seedlings grow very quickly under suitable conditions and soon become sturdy plants with the characteristic crown of large palmate leaves. For cultivation in Central Europe, it is best to grow the plant in a spacious pot in a bright room, greenhouse, or winter garden, where temperatures remain above 15 °C year-round. In summer, the plant can be placed outside on a sheltered sunny terrace, where it grows well. This package of 20 Carica papaya seeds is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to cultivate this classic tropical fruit plant at home and perhaps even taste their own harvest.
