Growing musk mallow is a rewarding gardening project for any lover of classic annuals with a romantic appearance. After sowing, the seeds quickly develop in warmed substrate, and the young seedlings gradually form their first leaves, from which fully developed plants with attractively loose stems and characteristic shaggy flowers will emerge throughout the season. This species thrives in sunny locations with well-drained nutrient-rich soil, where it flourishes best and produces abundant fluffy flowers. The flowers of musk mallow are a popular component of bouquets due to their delicate structure, long-lasting quality in vases, and the subtle fragrance emitted by some flowers. Regular watering during dry periods, moderate fertilisation during the growing season, and a sunny position encourage abundant flowering and stable plant development throughout the summer. The higher number of seeds in the pack allows for sowing to be divided into several stages, thus extending the flowering period. This species combines excellently with other annuals and perennials, creating a romantic accent in garden planting. After flowering, several flowers can be left to mature seeds for planting in the following year. For anyone seeking a classic annual with high decorative value, musk mallow presents an interesting choice with its unmistakable aesthetics and versatile use.
