The middle exhaust connector is a connecting pipe that links the stock exhaust headers to the end silencer. It is designed for motorcycles Kawasaki Ninja 400, Z400 and Z250 models from 2017–2021 and is suitable for mounting an end silencer with a 51 mm connection. The pipe is made of stainless steel with a blue finish and measures 150 mm. The slightly curved shape follows the exhaust routing under the motorcycle. The package includes a clamp for securing the connection.
- Compatibility — The connector is intended for Kawasaki Ninja 400, Kawasaki Z400 and Kawasaki Z250, models from 2017 to 2021. We recommend verifying the model and year of manufacture of your motorcycle before ordering.
- Dimensions — The length of the pipe is approximately 150 mm. The end for the exhaust headers has a diameter of approximately 46 mm, while the end for the end silencer is 50.8 mm. The connection is compatible with silencers sized at 51 mm.
- Blue Finish — The stainless steel pipe is blue with purple highlights, and the end at the headers transitions into bronze and light grey shades.
- Slot at the End — The end that fits over the exhaust headers has a longitudinal slot. Once the clamp is tightened, it securely grips around the headers.
- Hooks for Springs — Two hooks are welded onto the pipe, into which the springs of the end silencer can be attached. The springs hold the silencer onto the connector and prevent the connection from loosening.
- Clamp — The clamp with a screw is placed on the connection between the connector and the headers and tightened. It is included in the package.
- Installation — The original silencer is removed, the connector is slid onto the exhaust headers and secured with the clamp. The end silencer is then attached to the other end and secured with springs.
- For Slip-On Silencers — The connector is used to connect slip-on type end silencers with a 51 mm connection diameter. Please verify the diameter of your silencer's inlet before purchasing.
- Post-Installation Check — After the first few miles, we recommend checking the tightness of the clamp and the attachment of the springs. Tighten the clamp with the exhaust cooled down.
- Usage — The connector is suitable for replacing the stock silencer with a sports end or for replacing a damaged middle exhaust piece. It replaces the original connection between the headers and the silencer, allowing the headers to remain stock while only the end part is changed.
