Overview
Matcha Set 4-Piece White Ceramic Chawan Bowl with Relief Chasen Whisk and Stand Bamboo Spoon Equipment for Japanese Tea

If you want to prepare matcha at home just like in Japan, you need four things — and these are exactly what is included in this package. The whisking bowl is made of white ceramic and its walls are adorned with a horizontal relief that also improves grip when wet. The whisking is done by a chasen whisk made of bamboo, whose split prongs break up the powder lumps and froth the drink in just a few seconds. The other two pieces — the holder and spoon — take care of dosing and ensuring the whisk lasts as long as possible. The package is stored in a kraft box made of unbleached paper.

The holder is unobtrusive, but it determines the lifespan of the whisk: the wet bamboo prongs stretch back to their original shape on it and dry evenly. Without it, the bundle gradually compresses and whisking stops working. The flat spoon with a curved end replaces a measuring scoop — one dose corresponds to roughly two scoops, so there is no need to weigh anything.

Main Features:

  • White Ceramic — neutral design that highlights the green hue of the drink.
  • Relief Walls — horizontal waves around the bowl improve grip.
  • Split Prongs — the whisk breaks up lumps and creates a fine foam on the surface.
  • Drying Holder — stretches the prongs back to their original shape and allows them to dry evenly.
  • Flat Spoon — the curved end scoops powder even from the bottom of a taller container.
  • Easy to Clean — the glaze does not retain powder residues and can simply be rinsed with water.
  • Kraft Packaging — box made of unbleached paper without printing.
  • Ready to Gift — the packaging does not require any additional wrapping.

Contents of the Package:

  • 1x Ceramic Chawan Bowl
  • 1x Bamboo Whisk
  • 1x Ceramic Whisk Stand
  • 1x Bamboo Spoon

By purchasing one package, you eliminate the hassle of sourcing four individual pieces, which can be time-consuming with bamboo utensils. The white design fits any tableware and does not compete with the colour of the drink itself. The combination of the whisk and holder is what distinguishes this set from cheaper packages, where the holder is missing and the whisk wears out quickly. The dimensions of the package are such that it fits into a kitchen cupboard or drawer. The set is suitable for beginners wanting to try matcha for the first time, as well as for those who prepare it daily and need a replacement for worn utensils.
