The LY400 auto-darkening welding helmet protects the eyes and face from the radiation of the electric arc, flying sparks, and radiant heat. Optical class 1/1/1/2 ensures a clear image through the filter throughout the welding process, without disturbing distortion in the viewing area. Viewing area 92 x 42 mm provides an overview of the weld pool and its immediate surroundings, making it easier to guide the weld bead. True Color technology presents colours more accurately than standard green filters, allowing you to more easily distinguish between heated material and the cooler surroundings. The black shell is made from PP plastic and the filter cartridge is designed as a flip-up unit.
- True Color — more accurate colour representation makes it easier to track the transition between material and weld, particularly when working with thin sheets.
- Continuous sensitivity adjustment — use the rotary control to fine-tune the filter's response so that it does not darken from surrounding flashes while reliably reacting to a weaker arc.
- Adjustable delay — with a separate knob, you can set how quickly the filter brightens after the welding is finished, from minimum to maximum value.
- Wide range of darkening — in light state, the filter corresponds to shade 4, in dark you can select the range 5-9 or 9-13 depending on the welding current and method.
- Solar power — the solar cell is supplemented by a backup lithium battery, allowing the helmet to function even indoors and in areas with insufficient daylight.
- Flip-up cartridge — the filter unit can be flipped up, providing a direct view without the need to remove the entire helmet from your head.
- Internal controls — the SHADE, SENSITIVITY, and DELAY buttons are located on the inside of the cartridge, where they are protected from damage and accidental adjustment.
- Wide compatibility — the helmet is designed for ARC and MIG welding as well as for subsequent grinding and cleaning of the weld.

The helmet is useful for welders, locksmiths, and DIY enthusiasts during repairs, construction manufacturing, and locksmithing tasks outside the workshop. The flip-up cartridge speeds up work where welding alternates with inspection and measurement, as you do not need to constantly remove the helmet. The combination of continuous sensitivity and adjustable delay allows you to tailor the filter's behaviour to the specific method and size of the weld. Lightweight PP plastic does not strain the neck even during all-day work and withstands the thermal load generated during welding. It is suitable for locksmith workshops, service centres, and field installations.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
