A shower area without a tray requires a drain that can handle water from the entire floor area, and this is exactly what the linear drain of 50 cm in length is designed for. The inlet is embedded under the tiles, leaving only a narrow stainless steel strip with longitudinal bars on the surface, while the rest of the structure is hidden in the floor. The material is stainless steel, which does not corrode in the humid environment of the bathroom and withstands daily contact with water, soap, and common cleaning agents. The outlet neck is positioned in the centre of the drain, allowing the waste to connect at the midpoint of its length, with the floor sloping evenly towards it from both sides. The grate can be lifted by hand and reveals a strainer that captures hair and coarse debris before entering the waste, making it easy to clean the bottom of the drain.

- Hair strainer – the circular insert above the neck captures hair and soap residues that would otherwise gradually accumulate in the waste pipe and slow drainage.
- Maintenance – smooth stainless steel can be wiped with a sponge, the inside of the drain can be rinsed with water, and the surface does not require aggressive cleaners, scouring pads, or polishes.

The linear drain is suitable for bathrooms with a floor-level shower and for renovations where the drainage of the entire tiled area replaces a shower tray. The narrow strip in the floor fits better between tiles than a circular inlet in the corner and does not disrupt the pattern of large-format tiles. Regularly removing the grate and rinsing the strainer will keep the drainage clear and prevent water from draining slower than at the beginning. Before purchasing, it is advisable to compare the dimensions of 50 x 6.8 x 5.6 cm with the space in the floor, check the diameter of the waste pipe and its height beneath the tiles. Installing the drain is part of the tiling process, as the grate must be flush with the floor and the joints around it are sealed during tiling.
