Overview
Jeweller's Stereomicroscope 53.3 x 68.6 x 17.8 cm with 0.7x to 4.5x Zoom, White Head and Multi-Directional Arm for Setting Stones

The jeweller's stereomicroscope for setting stones combines a white binocular head with two eyepieces and a black multi-directional stand with an arm. The head features continuous zoom ranging from 0.7x to 4.5x, allowing magnification to be adjusted by turning a knob without changing objectives. The arm is balanced by a spring and can be directed over the work area from various angles using joints and locking levers. The entire assembly measures approximately 53.3 x 68.6 x 17.8 cm and stands on a square base. The microscope is designed for micro-setting and other fine jewellery work, where it is necessary to see the stone and the setting up close while keeping both hands free.

  • Stereoscopic Head – the white head body carries two eyepieces with rubber eyecups; the instrument is viewed with both eyes simultaneously. The eyepieces are angled upwards, allowing for a slight tilt of the head while keeping the workpiece directly beneath the microscope head in front of the hands.
  • Continuous Zoom – magnification is adjusted using a rotating wheel on the side of the head, ranging from 0.7x to 4.5x, and can be changed gradually according to the size of the observed object. At lower magnifications, a larger portion of the workpiece is visible, while at higher magnifications, fine details can be examined.
  • Multi-Directional Arm – the jointed construction allows the head to be moved forward, backward, and sideways, and tilted into an angled position. The arm consists of a vertical column and a horizontal beam, between which a tension spring balances the microscope head.
  • Locking Levers – the individual joints of the arm are secured with lever and star screws, allowing the set position of the head to be firmly tightened; additionally, there is a large knurled wheel on the side of the beam.
  • Padded Rest – a black padded rest is attached to the beam, and its position can be adjusted with a separate joint. The rest is mounted on its own holder next to the eyepieces and can be rotated independently of the microscope head.
  • Base – the arm stands on a square plate with holes in the corners, which supports the entire construction, including the head and rest. The entire assembly occupies approximately 53.3 x 68.6 x 17.8 cm.

Contents of the Package:

  • 1x stereomicroscope with multi-directional arm

The combination of the binocular head and the rotating arm allows for observation of the object from the side or at an angle, not just directly from above. The range of zoom from 0.7x to 4.5x covers both an overall view of the workpiece and closer details. The spring in the arm balances the head, and the locking levers serve to secure the set position. The multi-directional arm extends sideways from the column, keeping the space under the microscope free for the jewellery in the holder, tools, and hands. The stereomicroscope is suitable for goldsmith and jewellery workshops where small stones are set and precision is required.
