Insulating Protective Cover for Air Conditioning Hose 150 x 53.3 cm Grey Washable Sleeve for Hoses 12.7–15 cm Heat Reduction Energy Saving
This insulating protective cover for air conditioning hoses measuring 150 x 53.3 cm is designed to enhance cooling efficiency and reduce energy losses caused by hot air inside the exhaust hose. The cover helps block direct light and heat, significantly limiting room warming. It can be used year-round as it protects the hose from UV radiation and extends its lifespan. It is suitable for all common portable air conditioners as well as wall units with an exhaust hose diameter of 12.7 cm (5") and 15 cm (5.9"). Thanks to the universal Velcro and sturdy nylon straps, the cover fits excellently even at the bend of the hose and does not peel off.
The cover is made from high-quality polyester and a composite insulating layer. This combination creates a sturdy, durable yet flexible construction. The material is washable and reusable – it can be easily removed, washed, and reapplied. The edge binding increases strength and prevents fraying. Precise double stitching ensures a long lifespan even with regular bending. The cover is ready for immediate use without tools and allows for quick installation in just a few seconds.
- Dimensions 150 x 53.3 cm – suitable for most air conditioning exhaust hoses.
- Compatible with hoses with a diameter of 12.7 cm (5") and 15 cm (5.9").
- Insulating material reduces heat emitted from the hose and improves air conditioning performance.
- Protects the hose from sunlight, dust, and premature wear.
- Edge binding and sturdy stitching – long lifespan, does not disintegrate even at bends.
- Washable design, easy to clean and reuse.
- Includes two adjustable straps for secure fastening.
- Package contents: 1× insulating cover for air conditioning hose.
Installation procedure:
- 1. Unfold the cover along the entire length of the air conditioning hose.
- 2. Open the Velcro and place the hose in the centre of the cover.
- 3. Wrap the cover around the hose and securely close it using the Velcro.
- 4. Attach the supplied nylon straps to both ends and tighten them.
- 5. Check that the cover holds firmly even at the bend of the hose.
This cover significantly improves comfort in the room as it prevents the spread of heat from the exhaust hose. The air conditioning thus operates more efficiently, cools faster, and consumes less energy. The insulating sleeve also prevents damage to the hose and protects it from sunlight, which extends its lifespan. At the end of the season, it can be easily removed, washed, and folded. A practical, simple, and effective solution for every household with a portable air conditioner.
