This vertically suspended decoration evokes the atmosphere of Lunar New Year celebrations with typical elements of Chinese culture. The assembly consists of five connected lanterns arranged vertically, with small golden decorative elements resembling metal crowns in between. The overall dimensions are length 100 cm and width 10 cm, making the decoration function as a narrow vertical accent beside doors, windows, or on walls. The red and gold design with rich red and shiny gold details corresponds to the traditional concept of Chinese New Year decoration. Each lantern carries decorative Chinese symbols of luck, which are associated in Asian culture with prosperity, abundance, and a happy year. At the bottom of the assembly hangs a long red tassel, which completes the elegant vertical line and gives the whole piece a festive appearance. The decoration stands out even on its own and is suitable for placement in various Asian-themed spaces.

The hanging New Year lantern is a typical vertical decoration that people in Asian countries place at the entrances of their homes, shops, and restaurants during the Lunar New Year. It is also suitable as a year-round decoration in Asian-themed interiors, such as in tea houses, sushi bars, or specialty shops. In combination with other red elements, paper lanterns, or golden ornaments, it creates a cohesive New Year atmosphere. The decoration can be easily stored in a smaller space after the season and can be reused, making its purchase advantageous for annual celebrations. It also serves as a suitable gift for fans of Asian culture, collectors of thematic ornaments, or organisers of events with Chinese themes. The assembly is also applicable in teaching cultural realities, at Asian cultural events, or when organising themed weddings.
