The Glacier cold print bed is designed for Bambu Lab 3D printers and allows printing at low temperatures without the need for extensive heating. With a size of 257 x 257 mm, it perfectly matches the build area of models A1, P1P, P1S, X1C, X1E, and P2S. The blue surface made of microporous polymer with an oil reservoir ensures a strong adhesion of the first layer without the use of glue. Prints reliably hold at room temperature, eliminating the need for applying adhesives. The spring steel sheet is sturdy yet flexible, allowing it to easily return to a flat state after each print.

The bed is suitable for printing with PLA at a temperature of 40 to 50 °C and with PETG at a temperature of 60 to 70 °C. The microporous surface structure helps evenly distribute adhesion across the entire area. The low operating temperature also saves energy and reduces the time needed to heat the bed. After completing a print, there is no need to wait for complete cooling, and the model can be removed almost immediately. The finished print releases simply by bending the sheet, without the need for a spatula or other tools. The double-sided design allows printing on both sides, extending the lifespan of the bed.

The bed magnetically attaches directly to the printer's heated bed, so it simply needs to be placed in position and printing can begin. It is supplied as a standalone steel sheet without a magnetic base; the Bambu Lab heated bed is itself magnetic, allowing the sheet to securely attach to it. The thin steel sheet ensures even heat transfer from the heated bed to the print surface, and the blue surface is easy to maintain.
