The smart gas leak detector helps to promptly alert you to hazardous concentrations of flammable gases in your home or workplace. Thanks to the mobile app alerts, you can stay informed even when you are not at home. The device is designed for detection of natural gas and liquefied gas and operates on the principle of passive “diffusive” air intake. When a dangerous level is detected, it triggers a sound and light alarm and simultaneously sends a notification to your phone.

  • Mobile app alerts via your home wireless network (Wi-Fi; 2.4 GHz band).
  • Detection of natural gas and liquefied gas (parameters may refer to “CH4” = methane / natural gas and “LPG” = liquefied petroleum gas).
  • Response time of 30 seconds from detecting increased concentration (depending on environmental conditions).
  • Sound and light alarm and status indicators (power / alarm / fault / sensor life).
  • Powered via micro USB 5 V / 1 A (constant power); the device may also have a backup battery depending on the specific version.
  • Measurement range: 0–100 % lower explosive limit (LEL = “lower explosive limit”, the threshold at which the mixture can ignite).
  • Alarm setting: 6 % LEL; tolerance approximately ±3 % LEL.
  • Warm-up time after switching on: approx. 180 seconds; recommended operating environment: −10 to 55 °C.
  • Control output for connected devices: 12 V / 300 mA for 15 seconds (e.g. for an actuator – depending on installation).
  • Dimensions: 86 x 86 x 24.5 mm; consumption: < 200 mA.

The detector is suitable for kitchens, technical rooms, boiler rooms, workshops, and smaller operations where natural gas or liquefied gas is used. Clear light indicators will quickly inform you whether the device is functioning properly, in alarm mode, or reporting a fault or end of sensor life (up to 5 years depending on conditions). It also features a test button and temporary silencing of the alarm when you need to safely check the situation. For proper operation, we recommend placing it away from direct hot air flow and sources of steam to ensure stable detection.
