The fuel level sensor is used to monitor the amount of fuel or other liquid in the tank. With a standard resistance range of 0–190 Ω, it is compatible with many common level indicators used in transport and marine technology. The design of the sensor is adapted for installation in various types of tanks where reliable monitoring of liquid levels is required.
The sensor has a measuring rod length of 100 mm (4"), which corresponds to the recommended tank height of approximately 110–125 mm. Due to this dimension, it is suitable for smaller fuel or liquid tanks used, for example, in boats, trucks, or technical equipment. Connection is made via a two-wire cable.
The device operates within a voltage range of 9–32 V DC and its operating current does not exceed ≤60 mA. The design is intended for operation in more demanding conditions, with an IP67 rating protecting the sensor against dust and temporary immersion in water.
Installation is carried out using a flange with five holes. The package also includes a gasket and mounting screws that allow the sensor to be installed directly into the tank. With a measurement resolution of 10 mm, changes in liquid levels can be monitored with sufficient accuracy.
