The floor drain measuring 15 x 15 cm features a smooth cover instead of a grate, which sits freely in the frame. A narrow gap remains around the entire perimeter of the cover, allowing water from the floor to drain into the inner space of the drain. The entire cover can be removed to reveal a circular drain opening beneath, facilitating regular cleaning of the interior and checking the waste flow. The total height is 4 cm, making this drain one of the low-profile models that do not take up unnecessary space in the floor. Both the body and the cover are made of stainless steel, which withstands the permanently humid environment of the bathroom without losing its appearance. The frame has straight edges without decorative elements, creating only a thin line around the cover in the floor.
- Removable Cover – the top cover is not fixed, allowing it to be lifted at any time to flush the interior of the drain without the need for any tools. After cleaning, the cover simply returns to the frame and re-seals the top surface flush with the tiles.
- Size 15 x 15 cm – the square area with a fifteen-centimetre edge offers a long drainage gap around the perimeter and is suitable for bathrooms, shower stalls, and laundry rooms. The fifteen-centimetre edge also fits well between standard-sized tiles without unnecessary cutting of the tiles.
- Height 4 cm – the low body fits even where there is only limited depth beneath the tiles, and does not intrude into the floor structure more than necessary. The low profile also means less disruption to the floor during a typical bathroom renovation.
- Water Drainage Around the Edge – instead of perforation, water is drained through a narrow gap around the entire cover, so there is no grate on the surface that could trap dirt. Additionally, water drains evenly from all four sides, not just from one hole in the centre of the surface.
- Recessed Installation – the drain is installed in the floor so that the top cover is flush with the tiles, making the drainage not appear as a protruding technical element. The drain then remains discreet in the floor, allowing the surrounding tiling and its pattern to stand out.
- Stainless Steel – the material resists water, steam, and common bathroom chemicals, does not corrode, and the smooth surface can be wiped dry with a regular cloth. Stainless steel does not absorb, so no water stains or soap scum remain on the smooth cover.
Contents of the package:
- 1x floor drain
The square drain with a smooth cover is suitable where the floor should be as simple as possible, and a classic perforated grate would be disruptive. The water drainage through the gap around the edge means that there is nothing on the surface to catch hair and dirt, and a regular bathroom cleaning can easily wipe the smooth cover. The stainless steel design accounts for permanent contact with water and steam, so the surface does not lose its shine even after prolonged daily use. The removable cover allows for regular inspection and flushing of the drain's interior, which is essential for the smooth drainage of water in floor drains. Size 15 x 15 cm offers a generous drainage area without the drain appearing bulky in the floor, and the square shape fits well with both light and dark tiles.
