The drainage channel, measuring 1000 mm in length, collects water along the entire shower area instead of a single point inlet in the middle of the floor. The body consists of a long shallow trough covered by a grate on top, with water flowing along its bottom to a single outlet. Both the body and the top cover are made of stainless steel, which withstands constant moisture and warm steam in the bathroom. The 45 mm diameter outlet is located at the end of the profile and protrudes to the side, allowing the waste pipe to connect at the edge of the channel rather than in its middle. The grate with long slats lifts off entirely, revealing the body and the inlet opening beneath it. Width 68 mm and height 56 mm give the profile a narrow and low shape, taking up no more than a few centimetres of space in the floor. The top surface remains smooth, forming a continuous walking area without depressions or sharp edges, making it easy to walk on in the shower.
- One metre length – the 1000 mm dimension covers even wider shower areas and spreads the drainage along its entire length, so water does not have to travel a long distance across the tiles to a single opening and drains directly where it falls.
- Outlet at the end of the profile – the outlet is shifted to the edge and points sideways, which is practical where the waste runs along the wall and cannot be centred in the shower. This outlet does not interfere with the standing area in the shower.
- 45 mm connection – the 45 mm diameter outlet is among the standard shower sizes, allowing for commonly available pipes that match the diameter, eliminating the need for unusual fittings.
- Removable cover – the slatted part can be removed at any time to access the interior of the channel, where hair and soap residue accumulate; after cleaning, it can be placed back into the frame to seal the entire top of the channel again.
- Stainless steel design – both the body and the slats withstand water, steam, and common bathroom cleaners, the surface does not absorb moisture, and after rinsing, it can be wiped dry without streaks.
- Narrow profile – the width of 68 mm and height of 56 mm keep the channel in a compact shape that blends into the floor, allowing the surrounding tiles to stand out without creating a wide strip of different material between the tiles.
Contents of the package:
- 1x shower channel with grate
Drainage along the entire length of the shower area makes sense wherever a single point inlet would not be able to drain water quickly enough, and the length of 1000 mm covers even spacious shower cubicles. Stainless steel is one of the materials that can withstand moisture in bathrooms over the long term without losing its appearance, and maintenance is limited to rinsing and wiping. The removable slatted cover allows for regular access to the interior, which is crucial for the drainage speed of shower outlets. Positioning the outlet at the edge provides more flexibility in waste planning than a central outlet and suits layouts where the pipe follows the wall. The regular slatted pattern appears discreetly in the floor and complements both tiling and large-format tiles, as the profile has a flat top edge without decorative elements.
