The 50 cm float switch is the longest version in this range and is suitable for very deep tanks and reservoirs. The float glides along a one-metre long stainless steel rod and, at the moment it passes the set point, it magnetically activates the contact within the rod. The greater height range allows the sensor to be used in tanks where the switching point needs to be placed deep below the tank's neck. The all-metal stainless steel construction ensures a long lifespan in drinking water, in hot baths, and in partially chemical environments.

The half-metre float covers deep underground reservoirs, large rainwater cisterns, accumulation tanks for heating systems, sewage pits, and industrial retention tanks. It can be used to control large pumps, automatic water supply, flood warning signals, or protection against dry running of the pump. High temperature resistance opens up applications in heating circuits, water heaters, steam systems, and in some technological baths in food processing. The design with a magnetic reed contact requires no maintenance or calibration and reliably operates for decades in practice. After securing the thread into the tank opening, it is sufficient to connect both wires to the control circuit of the switched device, and the sensor is ready for operation.

Once you have sent the parcel, send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number to info@lunzo.ie – this lets us process your return as quickly as possible and refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
