Float Level Sensor 0–190 Ω 400 mm 16" Electric Sensor IP67 for Measuring Fuel, Oil and Liquids in Tanks of Boats and Trucks
This fuel level sensor is used to measure the amount of liquid in the tank using a float system. The sensor generates a resistance signal in the range of 0–190 Ω, which is commonly used with many fuel level indicators. This makes the device compatible with a range of measuring instruments used in transport or technical systems.
The measuring rod has a length of 400 mm (16"), which corresponds to the recommended tank height of approximately 410 to 425 mm. This length makes the sensor suitable for deeper tanks used, for example, in boats, trucks or other technical devices.
The sensor operates with a power supply of 9–32 V DC and the maximum operating current reaches ≤60 mA. These values allow integration into standard electrical systems of vehicles or technical equipment, where reliable monitoring of liquid levels is required.
The installation of the sensor is carried out using a mounting flange with five holes. The included M5 screws and a 2 mm thick gasket are used for fastening. The gasket helps ensure a proper seal between the tank and the sensor, minimising the risk of liquid leakage.
The device is protected with an IP67 rating, which means protection against dust and resistance to short-term immersion in water. This allows the sensor to be used in environments with higher humidity or in applications where contact with water may occur. The measurement resolution of 21 mm allows monitoring changes in the liquid level in the tank.
