This entrance closure is designed to adjust the entry to the beehive. It is a plastic disc with a diameter of 6.8 cm that attaches over the entrance. The disc features a circular entry with a diameter of 2.6 cm, a mesh of small holes, and a narrow elongated opening. By rotating the disc, you can set which part will be positioned in front of the entrance. The package contains 12 pieces, making it suitable for multiple hives.
- Circular Entry — the largest opening on the disc has a diameter of 2.6 cm and serves as an entry for the bees. When positioned in front of the entrance, bees can freely fly out and return to the hive.
- Ventilation Grid — part of the disc consists of a grid of small holes. When oriented towards the entrance, the holes allow air to flow into the hive.
- Narrow Opening — next to the circular entry is a narrow elongated opening. By rotating this opening in front of the entrance, you can restrict access to the hive. This is useful when you want to limit the movement of bees at the entrance.
- Attachment — in the centre of the disc is a small hole for securing it to the hive. The disc rotates around this point, allowing you to change its position at any time during the season. Position the closure so that the circular entry aligns perfectly with the entrance when rotated.
- Material and Dimensions — the closures are made of plastic and have a diameter of 6.8 cm. The photographs show them fitted on wooden hives. The plastic surface can be wiped or rinsed with water if necessary.
- For Whom — the closures are suitable for beekeepers who wish to control the entry to their hives. You can use the same type of closure on multiple hives and manage them all similarly.
- Package Contents — 12x entrance closure. The hives and bees shown in the photographs are not included in the package.
Entrance closures are a simple tool for every beekeeper. With one disc, you can set the entry, ventilation, or narrowing of the entrance according to what the colony currently needs. You can change the position of the disc simply by rotating it around the central hole. With the larger package, you have closures on hand for additional hives.

Once you have sent the parcel, send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number to info@lunzo.ie – this lets us process your return as quickly as possible and refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.
Product condition: you can also return goods that have been used or unpacked, or that no longer have their original packaging or tags
Costs: you pay the postage for sending the goods back to Spain; we charge no return fee
Refund: within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until the goods have arrived back or until you provide proof that you have sent them

How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie, giving your order number and the variant you want – once we have checked that it is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange, including the address to which you should send the original item
Costs: you pay to send the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge
Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
