Electronic Fuel Level Sensor 0–190 Ω 425 mm 17" Float Sensor IP67 for Measuring Fuel, Oil and Liquids in Tanks of Boats and Commercial Vehicles
This fuel level sensor is used to monitor the amount of liquid inside the tank using a float measuring system. The sensor generates a resistance output 0–190 Ω, which is commonly used in fuel level indicators. Thanks to this standard, it is possible to connect the device to various measuring instruments used in transport or technical applications.
The measuring rod has a length of 425 mm (17"), which corresponds to the recommended tank height of approximately 435 to 450 mm. Due to this length, the sensor is suitable for deeper tanks used, for example, in marine systems, commercial vehicles or technical equipment.
The sensor is designed for operation in electrical systems with a power supply of 9–32 V DC. The maximum operating current reaches ≤60 mA, allowing integration into standard electrical installations of vehicles or technical devices.
The sensor's design is adapted for installation using a mounting flange with five holes. Fixing is done using the included M5 screws and a sealing gasket with a thickness of 2 mm. The gasket helps ensure a proper seal between the tank and the sensor, reducing the risk of liquid leakage.
The device is protected with an IP67 rating, which provides protection against dust and also resistance to short-term immersion in water. This makes it possible to use the sensor in environments with higher humidity or in applications where contact with water may occur. The measurement resolution of 21 mm allows monitoring changes in the liquid level in the tank.
