The electric tapping machine with a servo motor is a universal tapping arm for quick and precise thread cutting in the range of M2–M8. It is powered by a servo motor with a power of 600 W, which connects to a standard single-phase network of 220 V. The working head can be rotated to any angle, allowing you to cut threads vertically, horizontally, or from the side. The spindle speed (0–1000 rpm) and thread depth can be adjusted on the touch control panel. The tapping machine is useful in engineering production, tool shops, car service centres, and smaller workshops.

The arm is balanced and the motor moves freely within it, allowing you to easily position the tapping head over any point on the workpiece within the working reach of 1100 mm. You can clamp the tap into the quick-release head of the appropriate size, set the speed and thread depth, and start cutting. In automatic mode, the machine stops itself at the set depth and retracts the tap, so there is no need to monitor the end of the thread with a button. The right handle has an ergonomic shape, and you control the speed with your thumb, while the left removable handle allows you to guide the head precisely over the thread location. If the resistance during cutting exceeds the rated torque, the safety clutch in the head slips, preventing the tap from breaking.

The tapping machine can handle materials such as lead, copper, structural steel A3 and Q235, steel 45, cast iron, and tool steels S136, 718, and NAK80. The size M2–M8 is suitable for small threads in thin sheets, plastics, and smaller parts. The servo drive with a planetary gearbox ensures smooth operation and quiet performance. Please note that the delivery does not include a mounting table. The arm needs to be securely attached to your own table or work surface with sufficient rigidity.

The electric tapping machine M2–M8 significantly speeds up serial thread cutting compared to manual work or using a drill. Servo motor 600 W with continuous speed regulation allows you to adjust the speed according to the material and thread size. The universal tilting head allows for cutting threads in horizontal or angled directions. Overload protection in each head extends the life of the taps. The machine is suitable for production as well as maintenance workshops.
