The attachment transforms a standard electric or cordless drill into electric sheet metal scissors, replacing the laborious cutting with manual scissors. A pair of counter-rotating discs removes a narrow strip of material, ensuring a straight cut with edges that remain undistorted and free from waviness, which occurs when cutting with conventional scissors. The cutting discs are made of hardened carbon steel, which resists wear when cutting steel and copper sheets. The attachment can process sheet metal up to 1.2 mm thick depending on the type of material, making it suitable for common plumbing and bodywork tasks. The hexagonal shank fits directly into the drill chuck, and the included guide rod rests against the body of the tool.

Unlike an angle grinder with a cutting disc, there is no sparking or burning of the zinc layer during work, so galvanised sheet metal does not corrode as much at the cut area. The discs will need to be turned or replaced after some time, and their lifespan depends on the hardness of the material being cut. How do I return goods?
