Overview
DDR5 Memory 135 x 41 mm 8 GB 5600 MHz CL46 1.1 V with On-Die ECC and PMIC in Grey for Desktop with Intel and AMD Motherboards

DDR5 memory with a clock speed of 5600 MHz is designed for desktop computers with modern Intel or AMD motherboards that have DDR5 slots. One module offers 8 GB at a frequency of 5600 MHz and CL46 timing. It is powered by 1.1 V, and its regulation is handled by a PMIC chip mounted directly on the memory. The entire module, including the cover, measures 135 x 41 mm. The grey cover features cutouts and light elements on the top edge.

  • Clock Speed 5600 MHz – the frequency is among the standard speeds for DDR5, and the higher bandwidth is particularly noticeable with processors that use integrated graphics, which utilise the memory as video memory. If the motherboard or processor does not support 5600 MHz, the memory will run at a lower frequency permitted by the platform.
  • Timing CL46 – the latency corresponds to the standard specification for this clock speed. When combining with another module, it is advisable to choose the same frequency and timing so that both memories operate with matching parameters.
  • On-Chip Error Correction – DDR5 includes on-die ECC, meaning error correction directly within the memory chips. This captures errors occurring in the cells before data is sent. It is not a full ECC memory for servers, where the processor also performs checks.
  • PMIC Chip – power regulation occurs on the module itself, not on the motherboard. Thus, the memory receives voltage stabilised directly at the chips. The motherboard only supplies input power to the module.
  • DDR5 Architecture – the module is divided into two independent 32-bit channels and operates with 32 banks in eight groups. This allows the memory controller to process multiple requests concurrently.
  • Cover Dimensions – the height of 41 mm is determined by the cover over the printed circuit board. With large tower CPU coolers, it is advisable to measure the space above the slots in advance. In standard cases with smaller coolers or liquid cooling, this usually is not an issue.
  • DDR5 Slots Only – the contact strip has a notch positioned differently than DDR4, so the module cannot be installed in a motherboard with older slots.

Package Contents:

  • 1x DDR5 Memory 8 GB 5600 MHz

DDR5 memory 8 GB with a frequency of 5600 MHz is suitable for office and home desktop computers built on platforms with DDR5 slots. For gaming and more intensive tasks, it is recommended to install two identical modules that run together in dual-channel mode. Installation occurs with the computer powered off by pressing the module into the slot until the latches click. Thanks to compatibility with both Intel and AMD motherboards that support DDR5, selection is straightforward. The grey cover of the module fits well into both light and dark builds.
