The DDR4 RAM in DIMM form is used to expand the memory of desktop computers and workstations. It offers 8 GB at a clock speed of 2666 MHz, corresponding to the module designation PC4-21300 and a theoretical bandwidth of 21,300 MB/s. The 288-pin connector is designed for desktop DDR4 slots, and this format is not suitable for laptops with SO-DIMM positions. The module is compatible with Intel and AMD motherboards that support DDR4 memory. The black cover does not deviate from the colour scheme of typical components inside a computer case.

- Voltage 1.2 V – the low operating voltage of 1.2 V is derived from the DDR4 specification, allowing the module to function with the standard settings of the motherboard. The lower voltage compared to older memory generations also means reduced power consumption for the entire system.
- Non-ECC Design – the memory operates without error checking and correction, which is the typical type for desktop motherboards in homes and offices. ECC modules require support from both the motherboard and processor and are primarily used in servers.
- Designation PC4-21300 – this specification aids in selecting memory for a system that already has a DDR4 module. Matching parameters of both pieces are advantageous for operation in dual-channel mode. In such cases, two modules are installed in the slots indicated for dual-channel operation in the motherboard manual.
- Black Cover – the entire surface of the module is covered by a black casing with cutouts on the top edge, from which only the row of contacts protrudes. The cover protects the installed chips during handling and installation.
