The CYCLAMI carbon derailleur cage is designed for Shimano 105 5800 derailleur and other models specified by the manufacturer. It replaces the original cage and pulleys and is fitted with an upper pulley with 16 teeth and a lower pulley with 17 teeth. Both pulleys rotate on ceramic bearings. The cage body is made from carbon fibres with a visible carbon structure and lightening holes. The pulleys have a rainbow surface, which, together with the black cage and the CYCLAMI and 5800 inscriptions, creates a striking appearance for the drivetrain.
- Compatibility — according to the manufacturer, the cage is intended for Shimano 105 5800 and 105 5700 derailleurs. Please verify the exact designation of your derailleur before purchasing.
- Pulleys 16T and 17T — the upper pulley has 16 teeth and the lower pulley has 17 teeth. The lower pulley thus has one more tooth than the upper pulley, and both pulleys are clearly visible from the side through the lightening holes in the cage.
- Ceramic bearings — the pulleys are mounted on ceramic bearings, allowing them to rotate around their axes.
- Carbon fibres — the cage body is made from carbon fibres. The surface features a clearly visible carbon structure, and the cage has cut-out lightening holes through which both pulleys can be seen.
- Construction — the cage consists of an outer carbon plate and an inner part, between which both pulleys are housed. At the top, there is a pin for connecting to the derailleur body, and the lower pulley is secured with a screw with an internal hexagon.
- Appearance — the pulleys have a rainbow surface with transitions of purple, blue, green, and gold colours. The cage features the inscriptions CYCLAMI and 5800.
- Usage — the cage is suitable for road cyclists who wish to replace the rear derailleur Shimano 105 and enhance it with pulleys featuring ceramic bearings. It is ideal for bike renovations as well as for aesthetic upgrades to the drivetrain.
- Maintenance — regularly clean the pulleys and cage of dirt and old grease, especially after riding in wet or dusty conditions. A clean drivetrain is easier to monitor and wear on the pulley teeth is more easily detected.
- Installation — before installation, it is necessary to remove the original cage with pulleys and disconnect the chain. After installation, it is advisable to check the derailleur settings and chain length. How do I return goods?
