Overview
Cooling Pad for Chips 120 x 20 x 1.25 mm with Thermal Conductivity 21 W/m.K Grey for Cutting for Graphics Cards and Processors

The cooling pad for chips is inserted between the component and the cooler to ensure that heat transfers directly into the metal and does not remain trapped in the air gap. The thickness of 1.25 mm corresponds to the spaces where the cooler is separated from the chip surface by just over one millimetre. The pad has thermal conductivity of 21 W/m.K and is suitable for components with high thermal loads. It is sold as a grey strip measuring 120 x 20 x 1.25 mm, from which pieces can be cut to the exact size of the chips using scissors. Both sides are covered with a blue protective film.

  • Thickness 1.25 mm – the decisive parameter when selecting is the thickness, which must correspond to the gap in the specific device. This information can be obtained by measuring the old pad or from the service documentation of the graphics card or laptop.
  • Thermal Conductivity – the value of 21 W/m.K ensures heat transfer from components such as graphics memory, power amplifier transistors, or SSD controllers. The pad compensates for unevenness and height differences between individual chips.
  • No Electrical Conductivity – the material does not conduct electricity and the specification table indicates breakdown voltage of at least 9.8 kV per 1 mm. This allows it to be placed even over components that are closely packed together.
  • Scissors Adjustment – the strip 120 x 20 mm can be cut with standard scissors. The cut pieces can be placed individually on each chip, or in a row next to each other on a longer group of components. The leftover material can be saved for future repairs.
  • Protective Film – the blue film on both sides prevents surface contamination and facilitates handling during cutting. It is removed just before installation to prevent dust or dirt from settling on the surface of the pad.
  • Usage – graphics cards, processors, M.2 SSDs, chipsets on motherboards, laptops, gaming consoles, and other electronics where heat needs to be dissipated to the cooler. It is always advisable to check that the gap in the device corresponds to the thickness of 1.25 mm before use.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x cooling pad 120 x 20 mm

The grey cooling pad 120 x 20 x 1.25 mm is intended for repairs and maintenance of cooling systems where the original pads have hardened, cracked, or been damaged during disassembly. When replacing, the cooler is removed, old residues are cleaned off, and the surfaces of the chips are cleaned. New pieces are cut, freed from the film, and placed on the components, after which the cooler is returned and evenly tightened. Thickness 1.25 mm is suitable for devices for which the manufacturer has accounted for this gap. One strip can cover multiple components, typically memory and power supply of the graphics card.
