The standalone carbon monoxide detector is designed for continuous protection of living spaces such as flats, houses, cottages or rooms with gas appliances. The device monitors CO concentration in real-time and clearly displays the current value on the LCD screen. Due to its high sensor sensitivity, it can promptly alert to dangerous increases in carbon monoxide concentration. After inserting the batteries and switching on the device, an automatic pre-heating process lasting approximately 100 seconds will occur. Upon completion, the detector will enter monitoring mode. In this state, the green indicator light will flash once every 60 seconds, signalling proper function.
To check functionality, press and hold the test/mute button on the side of the device for approximately 1 second. The detector will trigger the alarm, while the red, green, and yellow indicator lights will illuminate and the display will show the value 888. Testing is recommended once a week.
When carbon monoxide is detected at a concentration around 70 ppm, the alarm will activate within 60–240 minutes, while at a concentration of 190 ppm or higher, the alarm will activate within 30 seconds. If the concentration is below 50 ppm, the alarm will not sound. In case of device malfunction, the yellow indicator light will flash and a warning signal will sound. When battery voltage is low, an indication of “Lo” will appear, repeating every 60 seconds.
The detector is designed for wall mounting at a distance of approximately 0.3 to 0.6 m from the ceiling or up to 1.5 m from the combustion source. With its non-flammable casing, low power consumption, and simple operation, it represents a practical safety element for long-term protection of individuals and property.
