Carbide engraving bits 30° x 0.1 mm are V-bits for CNC milling machines and engraving machines, suitable for fine inscriptions, logos and decorative lines. The tip angle of 30° remains very sharp, but the tip is slightly more robust than that of the thinnest bits. In one package, you will receive 10 pcs of bits with the same dimensions. The bits feature a three-flute pyramid cutting section made of sintered carbide and a shank with a diameter of 3.175 mm. Visually, they have a silver metallic finish.

  • Tip Angle 30° — a sharp angle creates a narrow groove with clean edges. It is a versatile choice for fine to medium-sized text, outlines and ornaments.
  • Tip Width 0.1 mm — a very fine tip leaves a thin line. You can adjust the width of the resulting groove by the depth of cut, as the deeper the bit goes, the wider the groove becomes.
  • Bit Length — the total length is 31 mm, making it a shorter bit designed for engraving with a shallow cut depth. When clamping, allow only as much to protrude from the collet as is necessary for the work.
  • Pyramid Tip — three flutes are arranged in a pyramid shape and alternate in the cut during rotation. The material being removed exits evenly from all sides of the tip.
  • Sintered Carbide — the material of the bits is hard and wear-resistant, which is why it is frequently used for CNC engraving tools.
  • 1/8 Inch Shank — the shank with a diameter of 3.175 mm is designed for collets of the same diameter. A 3 mm collet may not grip the bit properly, so please verify the diameter before purchase.
  • Typical Use — engraving inscriptions on signs and labels, logos on promotional items, numbers, name tags and decorative patterns. It is also useful for making stamps and personalised gifts.
  • Compromise Between Fineness and Strength — the 30° angle is suitable where you need a fine line but also want a slightly more durable tip than with a 20° angle.
