Contents of the Package:
- 20 seeds of Campsis radicans
For successful germination, it is recommended to stratify the seeds in the cold refrigerator for several weeks before sowing, which significantly increases germination rates and ensures uniform seedling emergence. After stratification, sow them in well-drained substrate in a container with a lid and place them in a warm, bright location. Young seedlings grow quickly in good conditions and soon begin to produce long shoots that require stable support for climbing growth – ideally a sturdy fence, metal trellis, or brick wall. The mature plant is characterised by high resilience and easy regeneration after pruning, allowing it to be kept in a compact shape through regular trimming. Due to its rapid growth, it is advisable to monitor the plant and limit its spread to prevent it from growing in unwanted directions. This package of 20 seeds of Campsis radicans is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to grow an easily established flowering climber with a long flowering period in their garden.
