Bulbine frutescens is a popular drought-resistant succulent plant originating from southern Africa, cherished by growers for its low maintenance and long flowering period. This pack contains 10 seeds, allowing you to cultivate your own young plant of this rewarding flowering perennial. The most striking feature of the plant is its small orange star-shaped flowers with six pointed petals that open gradually upwards on a long flower stalk. A characteristic detail is the yellow stamens with typical feathery hairy filaments, giving the flower a delicately fluffy centre. The plant's habit is complemented by narrow succulent green leaves arranged in a basal rosette, which the mature plant forms in a dense clump. This species is an excellent foundation for indoor succulent collections, drought-resistant plantings in containers, and compositions with specimens.

Contents of the Package:
- 10 seeds of Bulbine frutescens
Growing bulbine from seeds is easy and rewarding, suitable even for beginners with succulents. Sow into a permeable substrate based on sand and perlite, lightly press the seeds to the surface, and keep the tray slightly moist. Once germinated, the seedlings grow quickly and soon begin to form the characteristic tufted rosette of thin succulent leaves. Under suitable conditions, the plant begins to flower during the first or second year and continues almost uninterrupted flowering throughout the warm season. In European conditions, it is grown as a houseplant and balcony plant, which can be placed outside in sunny locations during summer and moved to a dry, well-lit interior before winter. This pack of 10 seeds of Bulbine frutescens is therefore an excellent choice for anyone looking to add a low-maintenance and rewarding flowering South African perennial to their collection.
