The brass adapter will assist you when you need to connect two parts of an air conditioning system with SAE threads of different sizes. On one side, it has an internal female thread, while on the other, it has an external male thread, functioning as a reduction between two sizes. The specific combination of thread sizes is determined by the selected variant. The part with the internal thread is shaped like a hexagon, allowing you to grip the adapter with a wrench during installation. In one pack, you will receive two identical pieces.
- SAE Threads — both ends of the adapter have SAE threads, each of a different size. This allows you to connect parts that would otherwise not fit together. Thread sizes by variant: variant 1 female 1/4 SAE and male 3/8 SAE; variant 2 female 3/8 SAE and male 1/4 SAE; variant 3 female 3/8 SAE and male 1/2 SAE; variant 4 female 1/2 SAE and male 1/4 SAE; variant 5 female 1/2 SAE and male 3/8 SAE; variant 6 female 1/2 SAE and male 5/8 SAE; variant 7 female 5/8 SAE and male 1/4 SAE; variant 8 female 5/8 SAE and male 3/8 SAE.
- Female and Male — you screw the internal thread of the adapter onto a part with an external thread. Conversely, the male end is screwed into a part with an internal thread.
- Brass — the adapter is made of brass and has a typical golden colour. It consists of one compact metal piece without any moving parts.
- Hexagon — the hexagonal part with the female thread provides a firm grip. During installation, you can hold it with a standard wrench and comfortably tighten the adapter.
- Installation — first screw the adapter by hand to ensure the thread fits correctly. Only then tighten it with a wrench using the hexagon.
- Two Pieces — in the package, you will find two identical adapters. You can use the second piece for another connection or keep it as a spare.

You will appreciate the adapter during the installation or servicing of air conditioning when parts with SAE threads of different sizes do not fit together. Instead of searching for another part, you can simply convert one thread size to another. Before ordering, check the thread sizes on both parts you wish to connect and select the correct variant accordingly. During installation, ensure that the threads on both parts are clean and undamaged. With the pack of two pieces, you always have a second adapter on hand.

Once you have sent the parcel, send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number to info@lunzo.ie – this lets us process your return as quickly as possible and refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.
Product condition: you can also return goods that have been used or unpacked, or that no longer have their original packaging or tags
Costs: you pay the postage for sending the goods back to Spain; we charge no return fee
Refund: within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until the goods have arrived back or until you provide proof that you have sent them
Exchanges
Deadline: 30 days from receiving your parcel (exchange for a different size, colour or variant)
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie, giving your order number and the variant you want – once we have checked that it is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange, including the address to which you should send the original item
Costs: you pay to send the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge
Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
