You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
Brugmansia sanguinea, popularly known among growers as red angel's trumpet, represents a unique tropical tree originating from the mountainous regions of the South American Andes. This package contains 10 seeds, allowing you to grow your own young plant of this stunning flowering specimen. The most striking feature of the mature individual is its two-coloured hanging tubular flowers with a characteristic yellow-green upper tube transitioning into a deep orange-red edge, which adorn the mature plant in abundance during the cooler part of the season. Complementing these prominent flowers are large green leaves with noticeable veining, giving the plant a lush appearance even outside of flowering time. This species is one of the cooler-loving brugmansias and occupies higher altitudes in its native countries with typical mists, humidity, and stable cooler temperatures compared to other representatives of the genus.

Contents of the Package:
- 10 seeds of Brugmansia sanguinea
For successful germination, we recommend soaking the seeds overnight in lukewarm water, which softens the hard seed coat and allows for more uniform germination. Sow into a well-draining substrate, cover the sowing tray with film, and place it in a slightly warm environment where the temperature does not drop below 18 °C. Unlike other brugmansias, this species prefers cooler conditions and may suffer in hot summers, so in European hobby cultivation, it is often placed on a protected semi-shaded terrace or in a bright room. Young seedlings appreciate higher air humidity and focus primarily on developing a strong stem and root system in the first year. When handling the plant, it is important to remember that all its parts are highly effective, and therefore it must be kept away from children and pets. This package of 10 seeds of Brugmansia sanguinea is an excellent start for enthusiasts who wish to engage with this most cool-loving species of the brugmansia genus.
