Black Winter Leg Covers Size L Length 31 cm for Footwear 44–47 with Water-Resistant Treatment and Drawstring at the Elastic Hem for Temperatures Down
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
Sleeping in the cold often comes down to details, and uninsulated feet can ruin an otherwise well-managed night. This pair in black has a length of 31 cm and is designed for footwear sizes 44–47, accommodating larger feet without stretching the material over the instep. The upper side is equipped with a water-resistant treatment, which stops droplets from a dewy tarp and moisture absorbed into the tent floor. The operational range spans from 0 to -15 °C, covering chilly nights at the end of the season to real frosts in the middle of winter. The opening closes with a drawstring threaded in the elastic hem, preventing airflow around the ankle and maintaining the desired tightness throughout the night. When packed, the entire pair reduces to a small bundle that can be hung on a loop inside the rucksack or tucked between layers of clothing.
- Length 31 cm – the internal measurement fits footwear sizes 44–47, covering the foot up to the ankle and allowing for thicker winter socks without pressure on the toes.
- Black Design – the dark colour is neutral, matching standard outdoor gear and not detracting from the appearance of the sleeping bag, mat, and rucksack assembly.
- Water-Resistant Treatment – moisture stays on the surface, so brief contact with wet ground or melting snow from shoes does not immediately seep through the cover, keeping the interior dry.
- Use from 0 to -15 °C – the range covers typical conditions in tents and unheated cabins, where night temperatures drop well below zero and feet cool down the fastest.
- Hem Closure – the drawstring with a stopper maintains the set tightness, preventing the cover from slipping down while walking in the tent, and after loosening the drawstring, the foot can be quickly removed even in the dark.
- Small Volume When Packed – the compressed pair fits into the side pocket of a rucksack or equipment bag, making it suitable for lightweight trips where every piece of gear and the volume of packed luggage matters.
Contents of the package:
- 1x pair of leg covers
The covers serve as an insulating layer when removing wet shoes, providing dry and warm support for the feet. They fit feet requiring larger shoe sizes, appreciated by those for whom standard sizes are often short and press on the toes, so before purchasing, it is sufficient to compare the usual shoe size with the range of 44–47. The combination of water-resistant treatment and adjustable hem keeps the interior dry even in conditions where moisture condenses on practically every surface. Use is not limited to tents; they also work well in caravans, camper vans, unheated cottages, or during nighttime car transfers. They are worn over socks and function as an additional layer in sleeping bags, sealing the space around the foot and reducing heat loss towards the calf. After use, it is advisable to spread the pair out and let them dry freely to maintain their volume and be ready for the next season. Small packed volume also means that the covers can remain permanently in the rucksack as a backup for unexpectedly cold nights.
