Bamboo Blind 50 x 150 cm Sun Protection for Windows on Balconies and Terraces Slats Connected by Strings Cord Pulling Brown Natural Colour

The area of 50 x 150 cm covers the window in its entirety, shading the glazing next to the door and the open space between the posts on the terrace or pergola. Thin bamboo slats are connected by strings across the entire width, ensuring that the whole strip retains its shape and remains straight when unfolded. Soft light filters through the gaps between the slats, sharp rays are diffused, and natural daylight remains in the space. At the same time, air flows through the gaps, preventing heat from accumulating behind the blind, allowing the window underneath to remain slightly open. The cord on the side controls the raising and lowering, the strip rolls up to the top edge and can be stopped at any height. The brown natural colour with the pattern of the stalks makes the blind a decorative element of the window wall or porch.
- Dimension 50 x 150 cm — the area covers the window including the frame and continues down to the sill or even to the floor, depending on the place of use.
- Slats connected by strings — bamboo slats form a solid unit that does not fray and rolls up into a regular coil at the top edge.
- Cord pulling — the side cord adjusts the height of the blind according to how much light should enter the room at any given moment.
- Airflow — the gaps between the slats allow air to pass through, meaning the shading does not function as a closed wall and the space is ventilated.
- Soft shade — sharp light is broken by the slats, allowing diffused brightness to enter the space without glare and reflections.
- Brown natural colour — the shade of bamboo with visible patterns of stalks complements wood, wicker, brick walls, and greenery in planters.
Contents of the package:
- 1x bamboo blind 50 x 150 cm
The blind is suitable for use at windows in the living room, bedroom, on a covered balcony, or above seating on the terrace, where it mitigates the afternoon sun. It is advisable to pull the cord gently and evenly, ensuring that the slats roll up straight and the bottom edge of the strip does not remain twisted to one side. Bamboo is not intended for permanent exposure to rain, prolonged soaking and moisture shorten its lifespan, so the blind should be rolled up and stored in a dry place for winter. Dust can be removed from the slats when dry, using a soft brush or cloth directed along the stalks. The shade of bamboo varies from piece to piece and deepens over time due to light exposure, which is characteristic of natural materials. The rolled strip takes up minimal space in storage and can easily be returned to its place in spring.
