The bamboo blind measuring 40 x 100 cm shades a window, glazed doors, or an open part of a balcony or terrace depending on where it is placed. The area is made up of thin bamboo slats, which are connected across the entire width with strong cords into one continuous and flexible strip. Air and some daylight pass through the gaps between the slats, so complete darkness does not occur behind the blind, but rather a soft filtered shade without harsh reflections. The blind is operated by a side cord and when raised, it rolls up into a neat cylinder at the top edge, taking up only a few centimetres. The natural brown shade with subtle streaks of individual slats serves as a decoration even where the blind remains raised all day. Bamboo also does not feel cold like plastic and complements wooden elements, wicker furniture, and greenery on the balcony.

The blind is suitable for rooms where sunlight needs to gradually diminish, as well as for outdoor seating areas, where it creates a barrier against direct sunlight while still allowing airflow. Before lowering, it is advisable to check that the cord runs freely and does not catch on the edge of a slat or the cord. Bamboo can withstand occasional moisture, but prolonged exposure to rain and a constantly wet surface do not benefit it, so the blind should be stored in a dry room over the winter. It can be cleaned with a dry cloth or a soft brush in the direction of the slats to prevent the cords from snagging and the surface from becoming scratched. The size 40 x 100 cm remains compact, so the blind can be easily removed and stored rolled up in a corner of a cupboard or on a shelf.

How do I return goods?
