The handheld microchip reader reads the animal's identification number from the subcutaneous transponder as well as from the ear tag and transmits it to a phone or computer. Supports FDX-B EMID and ID64 formats according to ISO 11784/5, allowing it to read chips for dogs, cats, horses, and livestock. Reading range is 0 to 30 cm depending on the type of tag, which means that with larger cattle ear tags, you do not need to approach the animal closely. The read number is displayed on a contrasting OLED screen at the top of the body. The black reader made of ABS plastic features a grip hole and a hanging option and is operated with a single button.

The reader is useful for veterinary practices, shelters, breeding facilities, riding stables, and livestock farmers during record checks. Transmission via Bluetooth eliminates errors that occur when manually transcribing fifteen-digit codes from the animal to a spreadsheet. The ABS plastic body is lightweight and withstands typical conditions in a stable, including being wiped with a damp cloth. Before purchasing, verify which chip format you use in your herd, as tags outside the specified standards cannot be read by the reader. We recommend charging the battery in advance, as the reader does not have replaceable cells.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

How does it work?

- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
