The 6 m photovoltaic extension cable is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or other wiring in the assembly. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black colours, making polarity easily distinguishable by the colour of the insulation, so you won't get confused when connecting. The wire has a cross section of 6 mm² according to the designation 10 AWG and is made up of eighty-four strands with a diameter of 0.30 mm, which maintains flexibility even with this cross section. One end is factory-fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The current rating reaches 70 A at 60 °C.

The cables are suitable for connecting a panel to a charge controller, extending existing wiring, or replacing a damaged piece in a functional assembly. The free end allows for custom termination — ferrule, cable lug, or direct connection to a terminal depending on what the connected device requires. Cross section of 6 mm² with a current rating of 70 A is suitable for powerful assemblies and longer runs where it is necessary to keep losses as low as possible. When designing the wiring, keep in mind that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour differentiation of the insulation facilitates polarity checking during any subsequent adjustments to the assembly.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
