The 5 m photovoltaic extension cable is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or other wiring in the system. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black, so the polarity is distinguished by the colour of the insulation, ensuring you won't make a mistake when connecting. The wire has a cross-section of 6 mm² according to the designation 10 AWG and is made up of eighty-four strands with a diameter of 0.30 mm, which retains flexibility even at this cross-section. One end is factory-fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The current load capacity reaches 70 A at 60 °C.

The cables are suitable for connecting a panel to a charge controller, for extending existing wiring, or for replacing a damaged piece in a functional assembly. The free end allows for custom termination — a sleeve, cable lug, or direct connection to a terminal depending on what the connected device requires. Cross-section 6 mm² with a load capacity of 70 A is suitable for high-performance assemblies and longer runs where it is necessary to keep losses as low as possible. When designing the wiring, keep in mind that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour distinction of the insulation makes it easier to check polarity during any later modifications to the assembly.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
