400 kV High Voltage Generator for Scientific Experiments and Tesla Discharges

This high voltage generator produces pulsed discharges with a voltage of up to 400,000 V and is ideal for school experiments, scientific projects, the construction of negative ion generators, or plasma effects. It operates on the principle of a Tesla transformer and offers compact dimensions and high efficiency.

Power is supplied via batteries (e.g. 18650), and it is only necessary to connect the switch. The device generates a high voltage arc that can jump a distance of up to 2 cm. Due to its small size and simple connection, it is ideal for hobby use and educational purposes.

Important Notices:

  • High voltage is dangerous – always exercise increased caution when using.
  • Do not operate idle (without discharge) – this may damage the module.
  • The module is not designed for continuous operation – the internal structure is not cooled.
  • It is recommended to use a high-quality battery with a capacity of at least 2000 mAh, ideally 4000 mAh or more.

This high voltage generator is intended for educational, demonstrational, and scientific purposes. It is not suitable as a lighter or for directly igniting objects – discharges are very hot, but continuous operation may damage the device.
