The 2 m photovoltaic extension cable is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or other wiring in the system. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black design, allowing polarity to be distinguished by the colour of the insulation, preventing confusion during installation. The wire has a cross section of 1.5 mm² according to the designation 16 AWG, which is suitable for common domestic and mobile photovoltaic installations. One end is fitted with a solar connector from the factory, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The stranded core provides the cable with the flexibility needed for routing around the supporting structure.

The cables are suitable for connecting a panel to a charge controller, extending existing wiring, or replacing a damaged piece in a functioning assembly. The free end allows for custom termination — spade terminal, cable lug, or direct connection to a terminal. Two metres in length is sufficient for typical distances between a panel on the roof of a shelter and a device inside. When planning the wiring, keep in mind that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour distinction of the insulation facilitates polarity checks during any future adjustments to the assembly.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
