The eleven is a size that appears among the most common sizes and is sometimes missing from budget sets. However, it is encountered for securing alternators, on brake line brackets, on clamps, and on various connections for motorcycles and garden machinery. The spanner covers it individually and at the closed end carries a ratchet with 72 teeth, which engages after five degrees of rotation. This allows screws to be tightened even in the gap between the engine and the frame, where the arm only travels a few centimetres. The body is 167 mm long and offers leverage to securely tighten the connection without the risk of over-tightening. The open end at the other end is applied sideways to nuts that cannot be threaded through the ring. The ring has a width of 25.5 mm with a thickness of 9 mm, the open end measures 24 mm and is 7 mm thick. The surface is dark grey, the ratchet ring is gold-coloured, and the number 11 is embossed on both sides of the arm. The arm is flat and slightly curved at the head, allowing it to run closely along the sheet metal and under the cover.

It is also useful for assembling structures and for appliances whose fasteners do not match the most common range. The ratchet side quickly threads and tightens the connection, while for the initial break of rusted nuts, it is better to use a solid spanner or socket, as impact wears the gearing out the quickest. The ring must sit fully in depth; otherwise, the torque will only be transferred to part of the edges, and the nut will be damaged. This is particularly evident with galvanised fasteners right at the first loosening. Ring Thickness 9 mm keeps the gearing in a firm engagement and the head does not expand under pressure. It is advisable to protect the ratchet mechanism from dust and moisture and to occasionally blow it out with a drop of oil.
