The 10 m photovoltaic extension cable is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or other wiring in the system. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black design, so the polarity is distinguished by the colour of the insulation, preventing any mistakes during installation. The wire has a cross-section of 1.5 mm² according to the designation 16 AWG, which is suitable for common domestic and mobile photovoltaic installations. One end is factory-fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The stranded core provides the cable with the flexibility needed when routing around the supporting structure.

The cables are suitable for connecting the panel to a charge controller, extending existing wiring, or replacing a damaged piece in a functioning system. The free end allows for custom termination — spade, cable eye, or direct connection to a terminal. Ten metres in length covers the distance between the panel in the garden or on the roof and the controller located inside the building or caravan. When designing the wiring, keep in mind that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour coding of the insulation facilitates polarity checking during any future adjustments to the system.

Once you have sent the parcel, send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number to info@lunzo.ie – this lets us process your return as quickly as possible and refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

Refund: within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until the goods have arrived back or until you provide proof that you have sent them
Exchanges

How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie, giving your order number and the variant you want – once we have checked that it is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange, including the address to which you should send the original item
Costs: you pay to send the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge
Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
