The 10 m photovoltaic extension cable is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or other wiring in the system. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black, allowing polarity to be distinguished by the colour of the insulation, preventing confusion during installation. The wire has a cross-section of 4 mm² according to the designation 12 AWG and is made up of fifty-six strands with a diameter of 0.30 mm, which maintains flexibility even with a larger cross-section. One end is factory-fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The current load capacity reaches 55 A at 60 °C.

The cables are suitable for connecting a panel to a charge controller, extending existing wiring, or replacing a damaged piece in a functioning system. The free end allows for custom termination — a ferrule, cable eye, or direct connection to a terminal depending on the requirements of the connected device. The cross-section of 4 mm² with a load capacity of 55 A is suitable for more powerful panels and longer distances, where it is necessary to keep losses as low as possible. When designing the wiring, consider that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour coding of the insulation facilitates polarity checks during any subsequent adjustments to the system.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
