The photovoltaic extension cable with a length of 10 m is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or other wiring in the assembly. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black, so the polarity is distinguished by the colour of the insulation, making it easy to connect without confusion. The wire has a cross-section of 6 mm² according to the designation 10 AWG and is composed of eighty-four strands with a diameter of 0.30 mm, which maintains its flexibility even with this cross-section. One end is factory-fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The current load capacity reaches 70 A at 60 °C.

Cross-section 6 mm² with a load capacity of 70 A is suitable for powerful assemblies and longer distances where it is essential to keep losses as low as possible. When designing the wiring, consider that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour distinction of the insulation facilitates polarity checks during any subsequent adjustments to the assembly.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
