The 1 m photovoltaic extension cable is used to connect a solar panel to a controller, inverter, or other wiring in the setup. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black, allowing polarity to be distinguished by the colour of the insulation, so you won't make a mistake when connecting. The wire has a cross-section of 1.5 mm² according to 16 AWG and is made up of thirty strands with a diameter of 0.25 mm, giving it the flexibility needed for routing around structures. One end is fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The current rating reaches 30 A at 60 °C.

The cables are suitable for connecting the panel to a charge controller, extending existing wiring, or replacing a damaged piece in a functional assembly. The free end allows for custom termination — spade, eyelet, or direct connection to a terminal depending on what the connected device requires. A cross-section of 1.5 mm² with a current rating of 30 A will cover standard panels in smaller domestic and mobile installations. When designing the wiring, keep in mind that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour coding of the insulation makes it easier to check polarity during any future adjustments to the setup.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
