The 1 m photovoltaic extension cable is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or additional wiring in the system. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black, allowing for polarity differentiation based on the insulation colour, ensuring you cannot mix them up during installation. The wire has a cross section of 4 mm² according to the designation 12 AWG and is made up of fifty-six strands with a diameter of 0.30 mm, which maintains flexibility even with a larger cross section. One end is factory-fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The current load capacity reaches 55 A at 60 °C.

The cables are suitable for connecting a panel to a charge controller, extending existing wiring, or replacing a damaged piece in a functional assembly. The free end allows for custom termination — lug, cable eye, or direct connection to a terminal depending on what the connected device requires. The cross section of 4 mm² with a load capacity of 55 A is suitable for more powerful panels and systems where current from multiple sources is combined. When designing the wiring, keep in mind that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour differentiation of the insulation facilitates polarity checks during any subsequent adjustments to the assembly.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery

Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
